Arrival in Colombo
Day 1
Arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo our services begin here, you are greeted by our travel facilitator or Tour Director, you are then driven to your hotel where you are assisted with your check in. After refreshing yourself proceed to see the best attractions of the city and its landmarks such as the Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Memorial Hall and Galle Face Green. Here, you can explore historical sites such as ancient temples, palaces, stupas and giant statues.
Sigiriya and Dambulla
Day 2
On second day, travel to Sigiriya to see the ancient rock fortress, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Climb to the top of the rock to see the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside, you can’t enunciate it until unless you observe yourself it. Afterward, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple –another UNESCO World Heritage site –to see the stunning collection of Buddhist murals and statues. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Sigiriya.
Kandy
Day 3
Today on third day after breakfast leave for Kandy - one of Sri Lanka's most charming cities –to experience its rich cultural history. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built in the 16th century as the place of veneration and protection for Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth. Take a walk around the beautiful Kandy Lake and enjoy the stunning architecture of local buildings. In the evening you can enjoy the oportunity to see a dance performance, where you will see the famous Kandyan dances, as well as up-country and devil dances. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Kandy.
Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Day 4
On day four, take an early breakfast and drive to Nuwara Eliya, which is also known as Little England due to its English-colonial architecture. The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is known for its temperate, cool climate the coolest area in Sri Lanka. On the way, visit a tea plantation and learn about the tea-making process. In Nuwara Eliya, visit the Hakgala Botanical Gardens and take a scenic walk in the Horton Plains National Park. The park is very rich in biodiversity, many varieties of species are found there and many of them are endemic. Nuwara Eliya -Ella -Yala
Day 5
This is the next morning in Nuwara Eliya after completing breakfast at the hotel, check out and get driven to Yala National Park, the journey takes around 4-5 hours depending on weather and road conditions. On the way enjoy the scenery at Ella Gap and also pass by eye-catching views. Do a half-day jeep safari to Yala National park, Yala National Park is the second-largest and most visited national park in Sri Lanka. Travel to the Yala National Park to have an unforgettable experience of Sri Lankan wildlife. The Park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lanka Elephants and aquatic birds. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Yala.
Galle - South Coast Beach
Day 6
Next day, wake up early and enjoy a refreshing breakfast before leave for Negombo via Galle. You will get a chance to visit Galle Fort first, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and subsequently fortified by the Dutch in the mid-1600s. The Galle Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site inside which a working community with schools and colleges, courts, administrative building, churches, temples and mosques and has been since the Dutch built it. After that be ready for another road trip to southeast beach Negombo, it will take 2 to 2.5 hrs to travel by road. In the evening witness the beautiful sunset while enjoying the seafood on the beach. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Negombo.
Negombo to Colombo
Day 7
After taking breakfast, complete check-out formalities from the hotel at Negombo and be ready for another road trip to Colombo. The distance between the two is around 39 km, and it takes about 1 hrs to travel by road. Colombo has a rich colonial heritage, the port city of Colombo has more to offer than just history. Pristine golden beaches, spectacular temples and colonial-era architecture have made this vibrant city, one of the most popular travel destinations. Have a chance to visit one of the biggest museums of Sri Lanka, National Museum of Colombo. It is maintained by the Department of National Museum of the central government. In this museum you can explore the history of Sri Lankan relics including collections of coins, swords, royal crowns, heirlooms and much more. After the city tour, we will drive back to Negombo Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Negombo.
Departure at Colombo Airport
Day 8
On the final day, finish your breakfast and check out of the hotel. Our driver will drop you at Bandaranaike International Airport Colombo.
