Paro Tshechu
Upon arrival in Paro, you will be greeted by our tour guide and taken to your hotel in Thimpu. Take some time to settle in and acclimate to the altitude. Paro Tshechu is one of the most celebrated festivals in Bhutan. It is celebrated in the Paro Valley in the spring season. The festival is famous for the display of the Thongdrol, a giant thangka (religious painting), which is only displayed once a year. During the festival, traditional mask dances are performed by monks and laypeople, and the local community comes together to celebrate.
Thimphu Tshechu
Thimphu Tshechu is the most famous festival in Bhutan as it is the biggest in the country. It is held in the capital city of Thimphu in September or October. The festival is a colorful blend of music, dance, and religion. During the festival, the sacred mask dance is performed by trained monks, and it is open to both locals and tourists
Punakha Drubchen
Punakha Drubchen is held in Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan, in February or March. The festival is held to commemorate a historic victory against Tibetan invasions in the 17th century. Wangdue Phodrang Tshechu

Jambay Lhakhang Drup
